Making an Entrance

Our brief was to deliver external work and an attractive entrance for the Ealing Independent College. It was greatly in need of a refurbishment to offer better access. Some flora and fauna was also required for the city-based college to provide students and teachers with have a space to enjoy and relax in, outside of class time. Completing the project within time and budget constraints during school holidays was crucial to avoid term-time disruption.

Our solution involved building a paved pathway around the perimeter of the building, large bespoke planter walls with mood lighting outside the front and sides of the college, and easy access ramps for wheelchair use. The result was a more attractive and practical space, and a more enjoyable daily experience for everyone at the college.
